Steps checked against Anthropic’s documentation on September 24, 2026. Claude menus change often; if a label differs, look for Connectors in Claude’s settings.
Claude connects to Copyfy with OAuth: you paste the URL, sign in to Copyfy, and approve. Custom connectors work on every Claude plan; the Free plan allows one custom connector.

Add the connector

1

Open Connectors

On claude.ai or in Claude Desktop, open Customize > Connectors.
2

Add a custom connector

Click +, then Add custom connector.
3

Enter the Copyfy details

Name: Copyfy. Remote MCP server URL:
Leave the OAuth client settings on their default. Claude registers itself with Copyfy automatically.
4

Connect

Click Add, then Connect. Sign in to Copyfy in the window that opens and click Allow access.

Use Copyfy in a chat

  1. In the message box, click + (or type /).
  2. Open Connectors and turn Copyfy on for the conversation.
  3. Ask a question, for example: “Use Copyfy to find 10 winning products in the Pets niche for the US, sorted by revenue.”
Claude may ask for your permission before it calls a Copyfy tool. Every Copyfy tool is read-only.

Claude Desktop and mobile

Connectors belong to your Claude account. A connector added on claude.ai appears in Claude Desktop and in the Claude iOS and Android apps after you sign in, with no extra setup. The connection always runs from Anthropic’s servers, not from your computer.
claude_desktop_config.json is for local MCP servers only. Use Connectors for Copyfy.

Fallback: add it manually

If the dialog looks different, copy the URL https://app.copyfy.io/mcp, then paste it into any field labeled Remote MCP server URL in Claude’s connector settings and choose OAuth (or “Sign in”) as the authentication method. Claude also offers a Request headers option that sends an API key instead of OAuth. It is in limited beta, so prefer OAuth.

Disconnect

In Claude, open Customize > Connectors, select Copyfy, and remove it. To revoke access from the Copyfy side, click Revoke next to Claude under Connected apps on the Integrations page. Having trouble? See Troubleshooting.
