Connect Cursor

Steps checked against Cursor’s documentation on September 24, 2026 (Cursor 3.9 and later).

One-click install

Add Copyfy to Cursor

Opens Cursor and asks you to confirm the installation.

Install

Click the card above, let your browser open Cursor, and confirm the installation.

Open Customize > MCPs in the Cursor sidebar. Copyfy is marked as needing authentication: click Connect next to it, sign in to Copyfy in your browser, and click Allow access.

Try it

In the agent chat, ask: “Use Copyfy to find 10 winning products in the Pets niche for the US.”

Manual setup with mcp.json

Add Copyfy to ~/.cursor/mcp.json to use it in every project, or to .cursor/mcp.json in a project folder.

Save the file, then open Customize > MCPs and click Connect next to Copyfy to sign in.

Create an API key, store it in the COPYFY_API_KEY environment variable, then reference it:

Restart Cursor so it reads the environment variable. Never commit a key in a project’s .cursor/mcp.json.

Fallback

Copy the URL https://app.copyfy.io/mcp, open Customize > MCPs in Cursor, add a new MCP server, and paste the URL.

Disconnect

Remove Copyfy from Customize > MCPs or from mcp.json. To revoke access from the Copyfy side, click Revoke next to Cursor under Connected apps on the Integrations page. Having trouble? See Troubleshooting.
